Mr. Askim,

Thanks so much for coming to Dallas and work with us at the Elan Music Festival this year. I enjoyed so much working with you on the Haydn Concerto d major. You are the best! Hope to work with you again next year!!! You are being missed here in Dallas!

Mr. Askim!
You're the most amazing/coolest bassist EVER! And I just wanted to say thank you for your help to make me as a better bass player. It's been only few days since we started working together, but I've improved so much because I finally learned how to practice smart! Once again, I really appreciate your time and help and here, You just got one more fan on the list!

I so enjoyed your playing today in Santa Fe. Consider me a fan. Thank you for the wonderful music. After the performance, you were surrounded by young admirers so a wave and a thank you were all I could convey - that's why I came to your website. I hope to hear you again....I bet that Rossini piece rocks. Come back to Santa Fe soon!

Best regards, Ani Tiffany

I found this c/d; Peter Askim, "Moving Still"; at the Goodwill Store, of all places. Darn, what a nice discovery.
When I was in early school days in Calif. we had the Chevron School Broadcast piped into the classroom once a month.
It was our introduction into the "Classics". Wonderful, Joyful, Playful, blessed time for our minds and dreams.

Thank you, Sir.

Thanks to Contrabass Conversations I discovered your web site. This is amazing and inspiring to a 67-year-old comunity orchestra principal bassist! Wonderful music and wonderful bass playing!

I was fortunate enough to have you as a guest instructor during our Kamehameha Schools Orchestra camp a few years back. I was listening to some music and remembered a solo you played for us, I believe it was called Lifeline which prompted a google search :) I'm glad to know you are still composing and doing so well. Take care and God bless...

Hello Peter! I just would like to say, that your website is quite impressive, as well, as your music is. Did you write anything for the piano solo or mezzo-soprano?I'm both...I've heared about you from Karol Kowal, who is my OCU student collegue.
Best Regards
